What radios tell you before you blow your subwoofer?

I trying to get a system and when i get it i dont want to blow my subs what kind of radios out there are good i prefer ones with a dvd player like valor but idk wuts your opion?
no radio can tell you that, but it can be avoided by watching out for a few things, and when it comes to car audio you always get what you pay for
make sure all of your amps and subs are CEA compliant (so you know how much power you are really working with) and don’t pay any attention to the peak/max wattage numbers because they mean nothing all you care about is RMS watts, match those numbers and set you gain properly you should have no problems, you also want to be careful with your ohm load

I’m not to sure and if they do its probably pretty pricey! just get the right power for your subs.

Distortion (thd) is what blows speakers, not power….Don’t turn radio up over 15…..

Steve O is so wrong it’s not even funny.
Don’t exceed the RMS rating of the sub(s) by more than 10% and have the gain set right and you will have no worries.
