Why do some radio stations, shopping malls and grocery stores play Christmas songs all the time?

That is, a month before Christmas? I don’t observe Christmas myself but I have no beef with those who wish to celebrate it and play that kind of music. What annoys me is when grocery stores, shopping malls and radio stations start playing ONLY Christmas music 24/7. If they want to mix Christmas songs with their normal music, fine, but why do they have to play ONLY Christmas music for a month before Christmas?

To get us in the mood to spend money, of course.

They feel it puts you in a mood to shop. Or that it puts you in the Spirit to spend more money!

The same reason why we have a bunny on easter, and pumpkins on Halloween and fireworks in July…Its ALL man who created it and its man who choose to follow it. The more popular the holiday, the more crazed people get…plain and simple…

If people are constantly reminded of Christmas, and Christmas involves buying a lot of things, people are constantly reminded of buying. And what better place to remind people to buy, buy, buy than a store?
It’s all about money. Simple as that.
