How to listen to radio stations on the internet?

Im trying to see if i can listen to my radio station 97.9 thats in new york. Also im trying to listen to radio stations that are in the dominican republic. Can anyone help.

    A lot of radio stations now-a-days have websites. If you can find their websites, just look at their homepage. Usually at the top they have a "click here to listen live" or something of the sort.
