How can I record radio stations through my computer without a microphone?

What software have you tried that allows people to record radio stations without a microphone on the computer. I can play the radio station in media player, but i want to record it how can i do this?

hook a line cord to the headphone jack of the radio and the other end to the line in on your sound card.
