What things would you need to start a radio station at home?

My friends and I are looking to start a small radio station at home and were wondering what we would need to start out.

Read this first: http://www.fcc.gov/lpfm/

You can also operate a low power station in the AM Broadcast band but it will have very limited range.

FM transmitters range from crap to professional quality. Check out this search: http://url2it.com/ccha
