You are listening to a radio station on the FM mode, and you are listening to a morning show, and the announcer uses foul language and says the "A" word or p****d off etc, and at times he plays music has foul language. I find it quite annoying and unacceptable, and surprised that the FCC don’t do anything about it.

I also wonder why the FCC lets it continue It certainly is unprofessional and small children should not be subjected to vulgar language nor any of the public that finds it offensive. I would report the station, date and time in a formal complaint to the FCC with a copy to the station manager. The public has every right to expect common decency on our public airways. If some one chooses R rated or X rated in a private setting, but not in public.

I have a i-xt DC/DC convertor. I plug it into my car and ipod and it doesnt have a screen to plug in the radio station on. I dont know what station to go to.

That device is just to charge the ipod. It’s not what you think it is. You need an FM transmitter.

There are at least 3 stations in Texas, KDRY II60 AM in San Antonio, KMIC 1590 AM Houston, KMKI 620 Dallas/Fort Worth.

I want to text this one local radio station of 105.9X which is WXDX and when I text them, I get an automatic text saying: “We do not recognize you as a station subscriber. Please go on the website and charges or rates apply.” Or something like that and I went on the website and there is no information on how to text the radio station. So how do I subscribe? Does anyone know how I can subscribe so I am able to text the radio station?

…out of what state?? Why dont you call the station and ask. the phone number should be in your directory under the call letters.

I got the Apple iPod USB Travel Kit with Car Charger/ Travel Adapter/ Cable – White and i tried it out, but i don’t know what radio station to put it on. The description says that it plays music, but i haven’t been able to figure it out. Please help.

According to a search I conducted in order to answer your question, you either need a cable that plugs directly into your radio which would negate the needing of tuning to any particular frequency (station), as it would plug into an auxiliary input on your radio, OR you need an FM Transmitter cable which would transmit the sounds from your iPod to an unused frequency on your FM car stereo. More than likely, what you have requires that the cable be plugged into an auxiliary connection on the FM stereo itself. But your radio may very well not have one of these, depending upon when it was manufactured. Assuming it has a cassette or cd player, an adapter can be found for playing mp3’s from an mp3 player, but this would be another expense.

I recently got a clock radio in the hope that it would make getting up early easier but I can’t find a decent station( mostly because I’m not a London native and don’t actually know many radio stations or their frequencies…) I’ve been using Xfm but it’s so easy to sleep through it, not enough good music. Can anyone recommend one? I’m not into trance, techno, beats, rap, any of that!

I like Radio 1 with Chris Moyles in the morning but I think most people either love or hate his show (and him)
Capital and Juice are good too for pop and mainstream music etc

I think I might like to work at a radio station . My idea is to become an intern, find out what kind of jobs exist at a radio station and see what is like . How can I become an intern at a radio station ? Thank you in advance for your answers .

First you go to college. Then you get the internship and hopefully they will hire you. It is not something you just walk into a radio station and poof, you’re an announcer. Hope this helps.

I recently purchased the iwave adapter for my car (for the ipod and car charger). I threw out the directions by accident. Does anybody know what radio station it is supposed to be set to when you want to listen to your ipod in the car?
