February 11, 2010 - 10:06 pm 7 Comments

My radio is broken, and I am used to falling asleep to classical music. Anywhere I can find a radio station online, or even several pieces that I can play in a loop?

Go to www.pandora.com and search classical music or a single composer. they play really good music and its a credible site for free

do you need to buy a blue tooth headset in order to have streaming radio on cell phone?

February 4, 2010 - 9:56 pm 1 Comment

i am having trouble sorting thru all i would need extra if I buy a new cell phone which has the option of purchasing XM radio (or similar) does any headphone work on these cell phones or do you need to buy the accessory of a 100 plus dollar bluetooth headset in order to hear radio, Also, I have ATT, does this mean I can only subscribe to XM radio and dont have other options?

depends on what phone you’re buying, usually, you don’t need a bluetooth headset to hear the music,it will play through the phone’s internal speaker. With AT&T,I think your only option is XM,but SIRIUS is joining with them soon,so you won’t have much of a problem of programing.hope i could help

How do I listen to streaming radio on the internet, through my home stereo? Components needed?

Go to Radio Shack, they sell a cable that splits a headphone out jack to RCA jacks. Headphone side goes into your PC/sound card and RCAs into the home stereo. Works like a charm.

Make sure you watch the volume when you first turn it on.
