So i just bought the Blackberry 8530 phone from metro pcs, and from what i hear is that even with that carrier im still able to download Pandora Internet radio on that phone. The only thing is that i don’t know where i can download it from or how to download it to my phone.
To download Pandora from Blackberry App World click this link…
http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/content/872?lang=en
On that page click the Download button and you will be prompted for an email address that has been integrated with your device (one you receive email on your device from). You will then be emailed the Blackberry App World URL to download the app OTA (Over The Air) directly to your device.
Or, if you already have Blackberry App World on your phone, open the BB App World app and select search at the bottom, type in Pandora and it will take you to the mobile version of the same page indicated in the URL above.
Hope this helps!
I want to know how can I start my own Internet Radio Station from the scratch. I want to build a website which will be a web interface as well as I want to build a Mobile app which will allow users to catch a stream of my radio on their mobile handsets. I need a step by step tutorial, and please if anyone is going to suggest taking professional help like live365 or something please dont as I want to create and maintain it on my own.
according to listening to other peoples music, and their own radio stations, check out www.last.fm
it streams all the music u listen to, though winamp or itunes or w/e application you use, then it puts the songs on to your page, and if u listen to your own radio station (or somebody elses) it plays similar artists and songs aswel as the tracks originally played through your own application…
I’m a beginner of new age music listener. I was wondering is there any good internet radio channel to listen to New Age Music?

I have a logitech 5.1 surround sound system, it works good with like WMP or any Desktop music player, but with like pandora, yahoo music etc. it only puts sound through the two main speakers and sub, how do i get full surround using internet radio programs?
I don’t believe any of them send a surround signal and even if they did it wouldn’t be the best quality compared to an in-home source like a DVD or CD. Internet radio has come a long way but I don’t think they’ve made it to that level yet.
I don’t want to use something like live365, shoutcast, or anything else. I want to create a professional internet radio website. Do I need a web hosting, and what software do I need?
Yes. You will need a hosting.
I like the music I hear out at big clubs that has been remixed slightly with some techno. I’m looking for a radio station that’s free on the internet playing whats current.
BPM on XM is petty good but I’m looking for stuff that’s a bit more mainstream.
Try Pandora!
I want to start a professional internet radio station. Not a radio show, but a radio station. I also want to do a VISUAL stream of some of the radio shows on the radio station. My question is what program/website service/device should I use to make the actual internet radio STATION on the audio side of the radio station and the visual side of the radio station?
Shoutcast ( http://www.shoutcast.com/download) looks to be the easiest way to start an Internet radio station, the software is free and there are different host options. People can search and find you from the Shoutcast.com homepage or from Winamp.
The TV side looks like it is beta, see below.
